Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage is available to download for free on iOS and Android devices. Going forward, the game will be updated with extra songs, as well as in-game events that are focused on different characters and groups. It will also feature live-streamed concerts starring Hatsune Miku and other virtual musicians. The game includes multiple stories that feature 20 characters in five bands: Leo/need, MORE MORE JUMP!, Vivid Bad Squad, Wonderlands x Showtime, and Nightcord at 25:00. Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage offers five difficulty modes for each song. Each bar is labeled, so players will know which touch screen action to carry out once a bar reaches the key area on the screen. For instance, they may be asked to flick their finger over the bar, or tap and hold on the screen for a few seconds.
Once a bar reaches a certain point on the screen, players are asked to perform a specific action on the bar. In Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage, players are asked to use tapping and flicking controls to interact with bars that move from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen automatically during each song. The rhythm game is inspired by the virtual musician Hatsune Miku. Sega has released Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage on iOS and Android devices. The rhythm game features multiple stories to complete.
